Payment terms
A reservation deposit representing 50% of the total amount of the rental with taxes will be required at the time of reservation, payable by check or Interac transfer with the signing of a rental contract.
The balance is required the day of your arrival by check, Interac transfer or cash. We do not take credit cards.
Terms and regulations
Cancellation method
If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, we will attempt to re-book the same property for the same period. If we are successful, we will return the amount paid to you. Otherwise, the deposit is not refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit of $750 is required. This amount will be returned after the cleaning in the week following the rental. We accept a check postdated on the day of the rental or an Interac transfer.
Age restriction
We do not rent to groups where all the participants have not reached the age of 25 and to students, excluding families with children.
Animals
Pets are not allowed inside and on the Villas site. A fine of $500 will be deducted from the security deposit if the presence of animals is confirmed during your stay. In addition, the costs incurred by the damage/cleaning caused by your animals will be charged to you.
Non smokers
Please note that our Villas are non-smoking properties. Failure to comply with this directive could result in a $500 fee. However, outdoor ashtrays are provided for smokers. Cigarette butts must be placed in the ashtrays provided.
Curfew
Out of respect for all our guests and your neighbors, we remind you that from 10:00 p.m. there must be no noise likely to disturb the peace, comfort, and rest of the neighbors (regulation N0 SQ-2019 concerning traffic parking peace and order of the municipality of Wentworth-Nord). No music should be heard outside by neighbors at all times. You also risk expulsion from the site without reimbursement if an intervention is necessary to stop the noise.
Fireworks
For safety reasons and for the protection of citizens, by-law 2016-465 consolidated version of Wentworth-Nord prohibits the lighting of fireworks without a permit. Failure to comply with this by-law could result in fines between $300 and $1,000 issued by the municipality.
Campfire
Campfires must be made in the outdoor fireplace in the place provided for this purpose. Depending on the directives of Sopfeu, fire bans may apply during your stay.
Property Care
Guests ensure that their Villa is clean and in perfect condition for the duration of their stay. During the cleaning following your departure, the Villa is inspected and, if its condition is deemed unsatisfactory, charges may be deducted from your security deposit.
Accommodation capacity
For safety and insurance purposes, the number of people, including children over 2 years old, must not exceed the stated occupancy capacity. Failure to comply with this condition will terminate this agreement. Please note that tents, trailers, and recreational vehicles are not allowed unless authorized.
I have read, understood, and accepted all the conditions of the current rental agreement for Lake St-Francois-Xavier’s Villas.
